Barkli DAN

An exclusive space

Residential
Interiors

About the project

Barkli DAN is a residential project in Kazan featuring an original interior design concept for its public areas, developed with consideration for the location’s prestige and the character of its future residents. The public spaces include a central lobby, reception area, library, fireplace lounge, mailroom, elevator lobbies, and a stroller room. The layout of these spaces is designed to combine a representative function with daily comfort and a high level of privacy for residents.

01

The idea

The project’s concept is rooted in the local context and the cultural memory of Kazan. Its inspiration comes from the nearby Lake Kaban and the city legend about treasures hidden beneath its waters. This image finds a contemporary interpretation in the interior architecture: the public spaces unfold as a sequence of expressive yet restrained design solutions, where value is revealed through details, materials, and atmosphere.

02

The interior

The interiors are designed in an elegant light palette, featuring natural textures, brass elements, decorative plaster, porcelain stoneware, and fluted glass. The fluidity of forms, textured surfaces, and lighting accents echo the theme of water, creating a cohesive and memorable environment. As a result, the public spaces shape the image of a contemporary business-class residential project, where aesthetics, material quality, and comfort are integrated into a unified architectural system.
